The Strong Troy

Troy is a fifty three year old man who is working hard to fulfil needs of his family. He is a very cheerful person when he is with his friend Bono. They are very close to each other and talk about their lives. But troy is not so cheerful person when he is with his family. He is an angry, frustrated man. He is the breadwinner of his family, but doesn’t really like his job. He wants equal rights for blacks and whites, but in his society blacks also seems to be racial toward their own race.
His relation with his wife is very strong, but it isn’t so strong with his son Lyons. His son always comes to him to borrow some money, but he don’t want to give him that money. Still his son comes on every payday and gets that money. It seems that he is guilty that he was not there to raise his son rightly so he tries to compensate that with money. He wants his son to get some job. He expects same from his son Cory as well, but Cory wants to make his carrier in sports. Troy don’t want his son to leave his job for sports because he thinks that blacks have to face discrimination because they are not given as many chances as whites. They have to be two times better player than whites to be in the team and yet they have to sit on the benches for most of the time. It seems that he thinks right because he has also faced this situation, but his wife says that it was his old age that stopped him from playing, not his color.
He is also a very caring brother but he had selfishly used his brother’s money for building his house and his brother still lives on rent.
He seems to be very strong as the breadwinner of his family but actually he is exhausted of this task.
